PASTOR

Mt Hope is currently in the process of calling a new pastor to our church family! In the meantime, Pastor Jon Haakana has agreed to serve as our vacancy pastor.

DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP

Katrina has been serving as the music director at Mt Hope since March 2024. She also directs the worship band at Centro Esperanza Church and teaches private piano, voice, and guitar for students of all ages. Katrina also plays trumpet.

In her free time, Katrina loves spending time outdoors (especially paddle boarding) as well as knitting, cooking, and reading. Katrina holds a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Allen has been a member of our staff since November 2023. He has work in church administration since 2012 and has enjoyed serving each congregation he has been a part of.

He has been married for 35 years and he and his wife have three adult children who all attended local Lutheran schools.

Favorite Bible verse: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  (Jeremiah 29:11)

CUSTODIAN

The Governing Board members are elected by the congregation and serve to administer the affairs of the congregation between regularly scheduled Voter’s Meetings; are charged with visioning and planning to assist the congregation to meet future needs and challenges.
