Hope Collaborative Kids' Choir
Mount Hope Lutheran Church and Centro Esperanza MN have partnered to create a bilingual children's choir open to all kids ages 4-11. Children younger than 4 may attend with a parent or guardian present. Youth ages 12 and up are encouraged to volunteer as assistant choir teachers! Contact music@mthopelutheran.org to volunteer or with questions.
We meet in the gymnasium of Mt Hope Lutheran Church from 7pm-8pm on Wednesday nights beginning June 4, 2025. Parents are encouraged to stay and listen or join Centro Esperanza's Spanish-language Bible study in the library room down the hall. Hope Collaborative Kids' Choir is led by Katrina Wessel, Director of Music at Mt Hope Lutheran Church.
Hope Collaborative Kids' Choir exists to nurture children's love of God through worship and fun! Summer rehearsals are casual and energetic, with upbeat, easy-to-learn songs. On any given Wednesday you might find a circle of kids clapping and jumping as they sing, learning bilingual lyrics in small groups, or showing off their musical gifts as we explore together the blessing of song.
