The teachers at Mt. Hope Lutheran Preschool are here because they love children! Here's a little bit about them...
Melissa Anderson
Preschool Director
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Melissa attended the University of
Memphis where she pursued a degree in Special Education. Upon
moving to Boulder, she quickly found her true love in teaching
preschool and continued her studies in Early Childhood Education.
Melissa holds a degree in Liberal Arts and Child
Development. She became the preschool's director in June of 2003 and
has been loving it ever since! Melissa enjoys traveling,
skiing, volunteering, and having coffee with friends. |

Stefanie Stibrich
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher/Assistant Director
Stefanie, a
Colorado native, has been teaching preschool at Mt. Hope since January 2003. In
May 2004, she graduated from CU-Boulder with a degree in Humanities and
Sociology. Recently, Stefanie finished a second round of classes and has earned
a Director's Certificate for Early Childhood Education. When not teaching,
Stefanie enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies, and going to the
theater.

Megan Christianson
Preschool Teacher
Megan is originally from Texas and attended Texas
Tech University where she graduated with a degree in Therapeutic
Recreation. After graduation, Megan spent a year in Russia with Campus
Crusade for Christ. When she returned, she moved to Colorado where she
began teaching preschool. Megan loves riding horses, mountain biking
with her husband, and participating in triathlons. |

Maggie Millis
Enrichment Teacher
Maggie is originally from High Point, North Carolina. She
moved to Colorado to attend CU and obtain her degree in Sociology. After nannying throughout her college years, Maggie
decided to pursue her passion for children, and become a teacher at Mt.
Hope. When not teaching, Maggie enjoys spending time with her dog, Ollie, watching movies, baking, and traveling.

Cecilia Anderson
Teacher
Cecilia is the newest addition to the Mt. Hope teaching team!
Originally from Chile, she
attended Parkersburg Bible College in West Virginia where she graduated
with a degree in Christian Education. Cecilia and her husband, Jesse,
moved to Colorado in 2002. Cecilia enjoys hiking, camping, swimming,
traveling, and spending time with her husband.
