From time to time, Mt. Hope hosts exceptionally talented speakers and other fun and informative events. Here are a few examples of special events we've hosted in the past.



Preschool Christmas Program

On Wednesday, December 20th at 6:30 PM, Mt. Hope's preschool held its annual Christmas program.





Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School was held from August 14th through August 18th this year. Using a Treasure Cove themed program, children discovered Biblical truths in every Bible story, activity, craft, skit, game, snack, and song. It was a treasured experience for all involved.





Is the God of Mohammed the God of Jesus?

Paul Akmed, a former Muslim apoligist who converted to Christianity, gave a talk on Sunday, April 10th 2006 contrasting Islam with Christianity, discussing the origins of Islam and sharing the story of his own conversion and the dangers he's faced as a result.



Pastor Larry Merino

Pastor Larry Merino, Gypsy and Lutheran Minister, and his wife, Linda, Visited Mt. Hope on October 31st 2005 for a question & answer session taking place after Sunday services. He addressed topics such as Gypsy culture, his own conversion experience, and spreading the Gospel to Gypsies. You can find out more about Larry Marino and his ministry here.
