Welcome to our website at Mt Hope Lutheran Church on South Broadway in Boulder, Colorado. As Pastor I pray that one day you may join us for Worship, the study of God’s Word and for fellowship.

At Mt Hope you will find a gathering of imperfect people - sinners - who are brought together by God’s grace and renewed by His forgiveness.

We are drawn to the foot of the cross where we see God’s justice - sin carries a heavy price. At the cross we see God’s mercy in that He willingly paid that price for us. We celebrate at the empty Easter tomb His rising again to life.

At Mt Hope we treasure God’s Word as revealed in the Bible. A rebellious and confused world may think God’s Word to be politically incorrect, but we know It to be His changeless truth. By that Word and through His sacraments He draws us to Himself.

By God’s grace we are striving to be what our church name suggests - a place of real and lasting hope. All around us are people, just like us, who are in need of hearing the message of the Gospel - “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3.16)

We encourage you to check us out.

In Christ,
Pastor George Hesse
